DEMOCRAT JJ SINGH IS
A son of immigrants, JJ Singh was born and raised in Northern Virginia, where he and his wife are now raising their two daughters. His parents instilled in him the values of hard work, serving others, and persevering through tough times. From working in the Peace Corps in mountainous Bolivia, to helping pass legislation in a gridlocked Congress as a senior US Senate advisor, to running a small business himself, JJ has embodied the values passed on to him, and always fought through the challenges ahead of him to do what was right.

As the father of two young daughters, JJ will fight to protect access to reproductive freedom so that they don’t grow up with less rights than their mother. In Richmond JJ will proudly vote to codify abortion access into Virginia’s Constitution.

JJ knows that prices are too high, from education, to groceries, to tolls. In the House of Delegates JJ will work across the aisle to lower costs to make sure that every family can afford to not just get by, but get ahead.

Gun violence is now the leading cause of death for our children. JJ knows that this is unacceptable. JJ will fight every day to pass common sense gun safety legislation, close dangerous loopholes, and require the safe storage of guns to keep our kids and community safe.

As a small business leader JJ is committed to growing our economy so that every family can thrive, and build a clean future for all of our kids to live without the fear and consequences of climate change.
